What the catalog contains

To help you find solutions to your IT infrastructure, application, and IT service management problems, look through this catalog. It contains partner company, product, and solution information for partners who are members of the HP Enterprise Management Alliance Program (EMAP). These partners provide or support solutions and solution components integrated with HP Software products.
Integration with HP Software can take several forms:
  • Partner companies use HP Software products to extend or enhance their product capabilities.
  • Partner products extend or enhance HP Software products to fulfill specific business requirements.
  • Partner add-ons (i.e., Smart Plug-ins, Smart Links, etc.) give you the benefits of HP Software products in a variety of environments and under a variety of circumstances.

How to find something in the catalog

We've given you several ways to find partner information in the catalog. You can:
  • Browse by partner company name, EMAP membership level, partner product/solution, and by HP Software solution
  • Follow links between pages within the catalog or to related information both on HP's website and on partner websites
  • Search from the search window at the top of every page for specific keywords

Interpreting the catalog

Silver-level partners typically have integrated products or solutions that meet basic interoperability criteria.
Gold-level partners will usually have at least one integrated product or solution that HP has certified (see Certification section below for more details).

Certification

Many products and solutions appearing in the catalog have been certified by HP. Certification criteria are extensive. Partner offerings passing HP certification have been reviewed by HP engineers and confirmed to work with the HP Software products identified on the catalog pages for those offerings.
You may see one of the following symbols in the catalog to indicate the type of certification for a specific partner offering:
Smart Plug-ins (SPIs) teach HP Software products how to manage your applications, systems, devices, and services. SPIs are not stand-alone products. They are unable to run outside of HP Software.
Smart Link Integrations (SLIs) link HP Software with partner products that manage applications, databases, systems, or devices.
Software applications that don't fall into the SPI or SLI categories are considered certified applications.
