About HP Passport

HP Passport is a web-based application that will allow you to create web profiles that simplify navigation through our web by:

• Utilizing a single user name and password (of your choice) to store personal information which makes registrations fast and easy
• Providing access to a rich array of electronic support services (e.g. knowledge base, support tracking online)
• Any information collected in prior registrations will be remembered, eliminating the need to repeatedly enter the same information

In the coming months, additional functionality will be added by integrating with existing applications as well as projects that are currently under development to enable:

• Real-time entitlement to web-based services (e.g., knowledge base articles, subscription services)
• Content customization and personalization
• On-line support and case submission abilities
• Subscription services (e.g., newsletters)

HP understands your privacy concerns and will not share your information, even to other HP organizations, without your consent. However, you WILL be able to use your passport at other HP Passport enabled web sites should you choose to do so.

The SSO OpenView web portal is a frontrunner within HP and is one of the first portals to enable and use HP Passport.
